Truly Experiencing Project Management

Teams experience the complete project life cycle – from the initial planning to the final implementation. At the center is a real project: together, the team plans and builds a steam-powered boat.

The simulation is clearly oriented towards classical project management and creates a high recognition effect with established standards such as PRINCE2 or the PMBOK. Work breakdown structures, resource planning, time management, risks, milestones and stakeholder communication are not just discussed but actively applied.

Unexpected events such as budget changes, new requirements or staff shortages challenge the teams additionally and make clear how important project discipline, clear roles and structured communication are.

The focus is not only on methods and tools, but above all on the right project management mindset: taking responsibility, making decisions, working as a team and keeping the overall process in view.

The goal: participants should not only understand project management but experience it directly – and then be able to transfer the insights into their own everyday work.

Planning. Steering. Results.

Frequently Asked Questions

The simulation is suitable for project managers, team members in project organizations, emerging leaders and anyone who wants to experience and deepen project management in a practical way – regardless of industry. Project Master is also frequently used in an international context to familiarize participants with the particularities of project management based on German standards and working methods. Topics such as structure, project discipline, clear responsibilities and a systematic approach are made tangible in a practical way. In short: Project Master combines classical project management methods with real project experience – interactive, team-oriented and close to the reality of modern project work.

The Project Master simulation is designed for one to two days. The duration depends on the desired depth and the target group.

No. No prior knowledge of project management is required for the simulation. The complexity can be individually adapted to the knowledge and experience level of the group – from the first introduction to experienced project teams. More important than prior knowledge is the willingness to really work on the project, take responsibility and develop solutions together. That is exactly what the simulation is about: not just understanding project management in theory, but actively experiencing it. And if the motivation for projects is not yet there at the beginning – it usually is by the end of the workshop at the latest.

The Project Master simulation can be conducted in German, English or Russian.

Yes, absolutely. The simulation is industry-open and can be individually adapted to your organization – whether production, services or an international project organization. This is not only about content and complexity, but above all about the way of collaboration within the project team. The simulation can, for example, be extended with concepts such as Insights Discovery, Insights MDI or the Team Management System to make team dynamics, communication and role understanding even more tangible. International project contexts can also be integrated – for instance through intercultural questions, different working methods or global collaboration in projects. In short: the simulation is not simply used "for" companies, but tailored together with you to your reality.
