BMWK Special Initiative Ukraine – Building Business Where Lives Begin Anew
Some projects don’t just transform businesses – they transform people.
The BMWK Special Initiative Ukraine is part of the Partnering in Business with Germany program and supports Ukrainian managers in rebuilding economic perspectives – between war, displacement and new beginnings.
The goal: to build bridges between Ukrainian and German companies, fostering long-term partnerships that support economic reconstruction and prepare integration into the European market.
But behind this program are not just numbers and strategies – but stories of courage, loss and new beginnings.
Competencies for a fresh start.
Many participants had to leave their country, learn a new language, reorganize their lives. And yet: they focus on what drives them – entrepreneurship, the future, responsibility.
For several years, HBS Berlin has been an integral part of this special initiative. Our trainers guide participants through training sessions and workshops that go far beyond purely technical topics.
In addition to project management, business planning and leadership, the focus is always also on self-efficacy, intercultural communication and the question: How can you shape the future when the present is so uncertain?
