Access Data / Server Log Files

When you visit this website, our hosting provider automatically collects data about each access (so-called server log files). This includes: name of the retrieved web page, file, date and time of retrieval, amount of data transferred, notification of successful retrieval, browser type and version, the user's operating system, referrer URL (the previously visited page), IP address and the requesting provider.

This processing is based on Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR, arising from our legitimate interest in the secure and stable operation of the website. The log data is used only for statistical evaluations for the purpose of operating, securing and optimizing the website. We reserve the right to subsequently review the log data if there is a justified suspicion of unlawful use based on concrete evidence.

Hosting

This website is hosted by Netlify, Inc., 512 2nd Street, Suite 200, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA. When you visit the website, Netlify processes technical access data (see above) on servers that may also be located outside the EU. Transfers to the USA are based on the EU Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses. For more information, see Netlify's privacy policy: netlify.com/privacy.

Handling of Personal Data

Personal data is information that can be used to identify a person, i.e. data that can be traced back to a person. This includes name, email address or telephone number.

We only collect, use and disclose personal data if this is permitted by law or if the users consent to the data collection (Art. 6 GDPR).

Contact

When contacting us (for example by email or phone), the user's details are stored for the purpose of processing the inquiry and in case follow-up questions arise (Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR). The data is deleted as soon as it is no longer required for processing and no statutory retention obligations apply.

Appointment Booking

For online appointment booking, we link to a booking calendar provided by Google (Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland). Only when you follow the link does Google process personal data (e.g. IP address and the appointment details you enter) under its own responsibility. For more information, see Google's privacy policy: policies.google.com/privacy.

Newsletter

With the newsletter, we inform you about us and our offers. If you wish to receive the newsletter, we require a valid email address from you. Registration uses the double-opt-in procedure: after signing up, you will receive an email in which you must confirm your registration. The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR).

We use the Brevo service provided by Brevo GmbH (formerly Sendinblue), Köpenicker Straße 126, 10179 Berlin, Germany, to send the newsletter. Your email address and registration data are transmitted to Brevo and processed there on the basis of a data processing agreement. For more information, see Brevo's privacy policy: brevo.com/legal/privacypolicy.

When you subscribe to the newsletter, we store your IP address and the date of registration. This storage serves solely as proof in the event that a third party misuses an email address and subscribes to the newsletter without the knowledge of the authorized person.

You can revoke your consent at any time with effect for the future. You can unsubscribe via a link in every newsletter or by notifying us using the contact details above.

Cookies and Local Storage

This website does not use tracking or analytics cookies. For technical necessity, we only store two settings locally in your browser (localStorage): your cookie preference ("hbs-cookie-consent") and your language selection ("hbs-lang"). This data remains in your browser and is not transmitted to us or third parties (Sec. 25 (2) TDDDG).

We currently do not use any analytics services (e.g. Google Analytics). Should we use analytics cookies in the future, this will only happen with your explicit consent via the cookie banner. You can change your cookie settings at any time via the "Cookie Settings" link in the footer of this page.

Fonts

The fonts used on this website are hosted locally on our server. No connection is made to servers of Google Fonts or other external font providers.

External Links and Third-Party Content

Our website contains links to external services, in particular to our profiles on LinkedIn (LinkedIn Ireland Unlimited Company) and YouTube (Google Ireland Limited). No data is transferred to these providers when you merely visit our website. Only when you follow a link do the privacy policies of the respective provider apply.

Should we embed third-party content (e.g. videos or maps) directly in the future, this requires that the providers of this content perceive the users' IP address, as they could not send the content to the browser without it. We endeavor to only use content whose providers use the IP address solely for delivering the content.

Your Rights

You have the right to information about the data stored about you (Art. 15 GDPR), to correction of inaccurate data (Art. 16 GDPR), to erasure (Art. 17 GDPR), to restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR), to data portability (Art. 20 GDPR) and the right to object to processing based on legitimate interests (Art. 21 GDPR). You can revoke any consent you have given at any time with effect for the future.

In addition, you have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR). The authority responsible for us is the Berlin Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information, Alt-Moabit 59–61, 10555 Berlin, Germany.
